The Brandon-Evansville girls’ basketball team posted a 54-47 win over Browerville on Thursday night. “Girls played really tough,” said Head Coach Stephen Schreiber of the Chargers. “Battled back and forth and found a groove in the second half. Really proud of all the growth we've made as this season has progressed.”
Haddy Baune and Kylee Dingwall led B-E with 13 points each. Maddy Anderson scored 11 and Sydney Schaeffer added 10. The Chargers made 15-of-21 free throws.
Lauren Schnetter led the Tigers with 15 points and Madison Wendel scored 10.
The Brandon-Evansville JV team won big as well, bringing their record to 13 and 2.
Brandon-Evansville (5-10) will host Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Monday and Battle Lake on Tuesday.
