The Brandon-Evansville boys’ basketball team came out on top in their Little Eight Conference contest with Parkers Prairie on Tuesday night.  The Chargers posted a 68-64 victory over the Panthers.

“I thought we played really hard once again tonight,” said Head Coach Trent Hintermeister of Brandon-Evansville. “We were able to set the energy early and sustain it throughout the night. Parkers is a good team with a lot of size. We did a nice job combating that by being physical and not letting them get 2nd and 3rd opportunities on offense. We shot the ball well once again tonight by moving the basketball and being disciplined.”

Dezmond White led the way for B-E with 25 points, including 6 3’s.  Tanner Riedel was also in double digits with 10 points and Lucas Fuller finished with 8.  Micah Fuller, Riley Perleberg, Brady Perleberg and Riedel each had 4 assists.  Brady Perleberg and Carter White led the Chargers with 5 rebounds apiece.  B-E made 48.6% (17-35) of their 3-pointers.

Parkers Prairie was led by 20 points from Dylan Debilzen and 18 from Mason Arens.  Arens completed a double-double with 10 rebounds.  Caden DeBoer added 12 points and Cohen Noska led the Panthers with 7 assists. The Panthers shot 49% (28-57) for the night.

Brandon-Evansville (4-9) will host Hillcrest on Friday night.

Parkers Prairie (5-5) is home to Battle Lake on Friday.
