The Brandon-Evansville girls’ basketball team turned up the defensive intensity on Tuesday night, holding Long Prairie-Grey Eagle to ten points as they recorded a 55-10 victory.
“We celebrated our girls that made over 10k shoots last summer before our varsity game against LPGE,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Stephen Schreiber. “The Girls played hard with an emphasis on defense and it showed. It was a great all around effort with C team and JV winning as well. C team is now 4-1, JV is 12-2 to go along with varsity winning 3 of its last 5.”
The Chargers were led by Taylor Dingwall with 13 points and Haddy Baune with a dozen. Grace Otto contributed 7, all in the first half, and Kylee Dingwall chipped in with 6 first half points.
Brandon-Evansville (4-10) will travel to Browerville on Thursday.
