Henning won for a tenth straight time when they defeated Verndale 76-34 on Tuesday night on the Pirates home floor.  Tyson Misegades led the way for the Hornets with 24 points, 9 assists and 4 steals.  Kale Misegades registered a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Mason Hammer was also in double figures with 15.  Lane Dilly scored 7 points and secured 9 rebounds.

“We played a more complete game tonight and finished what we started without having as many lapses throughout the game,” commented Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We created some turnovers early which led directly to points. Our guys did a very nice job sharing the basketball. It also helps when we make shots, which we did tonight.”

Verndale was led by Shawn Schmitz with 12 points.  Jaden Schulke added 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Henning will play at New York Mills on Friday and will face Cass Lake-Bena on Saturday afternoon in Perham.

Verndale (1-6) will play a road game against Bertha-Hewitt on Friday.
