For their second game of a back-to-back season start the Ashby Arrows Boys Basketball Team met the Park Christian Falcons in Moorhead and were defeated by a final score of 63-45.  The Arrows trailed 30-26 at halftime.

Jake Norby led the Arrows with 17 points.  Easton Nelson was the only other Arrow to reach double figures netting 14.  Kellen Dahlen grabbed nine of the Arrows 24 total rebounds and also dished out a team high 7 assists.  Ashby shot 37% (15/41) from the field including 20% (3/15) from three point range and made 71% (12/17) of their free throw attempts.

Kyler Card scored 16 points to lead the Falcons.  He was joined in double figures by Isaac Jacobson who finished with 15.

“Beginning the second half Park Christian quickly turned a four point lead to a double digit advantage,” reported Ashby Head Coach John Holsten.  “The deficit remained at double digits the rest of the game.  They hustled down 13 offensive rebounds and turned us over 23 times for the game making many possessions an absolute grind for us.”

Ashby's overall record evens out at 1-1.  They take to the home court this coming Tuesday against the Ortonville Trojans as part of a girls-boys doubleheader game night.
