Hurricanes Blank Bucks 12-0

A five-run second inning got the Fergus Falls Hurricanes off to a fast start on Saturday night as they went on to record a 12-0 victory over the Breckenridge Bucks.  Winning pitcher Dan Revering allowed six hits over six innings, striking out seven batters and walking one.  Wes Johnson (3IP, 6H, 7R, 1K) took the loss for the Bucks.

Leading hitters for the Canes were Thomas Bosek (2-4, 2B, 4RBI, R), Tosten Mann (1-2, 3RBI, R, BB), Sean McGuire (1-3, 3R, BB), Alex Hexum (2-3, 2B, 3R, BB), Stanislawski (1-3, 2B, RBI, R, BB) and Carter Thielke (1-3, RBI, R).

Mitch Porter went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Bucks.  Cam Nieto, Chris Nieto, Austin Ramos and Jonah Friederichs each had one hit for Breckenridge.

The Bucks finish the regular season with a record of 13-6 and a 9-3 mark in the Countryside League.

Fergus Falls improves to 9-2.  The Canes will have a double header at Pelican Rapids on Sunday.
