The 13U Ottertail Central Babe Ruth baseball team suffered a 7-3 loss at the hands of Parkers Prairie on Thursday. The game was tied 3-3 with Parkers Prairie batting in the top of the ninth, pushing across 4 runs to earn the win. OTC collected 16 hits compared to just 9 for Parkers.
Mason Hoyt drove in a pair of runs for OTC with a double in the first and a single in the sixth. Trinity Baker (3-4), Kaden Schmieg and Sam Ravenscraft joined Hoyt with multiple hits in the contest.
Dawson Bushman (4.1IP, 2H, 1R, 8K) started on the mound and pitched well for the Bulldogs.
