The 47th Annual Play Ball! Minnesota All Star Baseball Series is being played on Friday and Saturday, June 24 and 25, at Chaska Athletic Park. There are several area high school players participating. Tickets are $5.00 for adults to attend each daily session, while students and children 17 and under will be admitted free. The event is sponsored by the MSHSBCA (Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association).
Members of the defending champion North All-Star team included Carter Thielke of Fergus Falls, JD Hennen and Lake Hagen of Alexandria, Payton Rondestvedt and Josh Dykhoff of Wadena-Deer Creek, Chas Melvin and Logan Pulju of Perham, Brandon Jergenson of Morris, Wyatt Tweet of Moorhead, Isaac Wensloff of Roseau, Steven Brinkerhoff of Sartell, Brady Blattner of Rocori, Brady Goebel of Albany, Connor Nelson of Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal, Zach Gwost of Little Falls, Ben Keske of Grand Rapids, Levi Lampert of Upsala-Swanville Area, Jude Sundquist of Chisholm and Charles Hackett and Logan Winkelman of Foley.
The team is coached by Chad Kaddatz of Little Falls and Bill Ibach of Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
