Finseth Paces Rebels to First Place Finish in Section 8A Boys' Track and Field

Joshua Finseth won four individual events (200, 400, long jump, triple jump) to lead the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton boys’ track and field team to a first place finish at the Section 8A Track and Field Meet on Friday at Ada-Borup-West High School.  DGF had a winning score of 133.  They were followed by Park Rapids Area 125, Park Christian 62.5, BGMR 54 and Ada-Borup-West to round out the top five teams.

Park Rapids Area won the girls’ team title with Bagley-Fosston finishing second.

 McKale Pierson of the Rebels won both the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles and DGF took first place in the 4x400 relay and second in the 4x800 relay.

United North Central high jumper Sam Senske won his event and is also headed to the state meet.

Emma Hellerud of DGF qualified for the girls' state track and field meet by finishing second in both the shot put and the discus.

United North Central had a champion as Faith Rustad won the 800 meter run.  Bree Nelson was runner-up in the 400 meter dash and UNC had two relays (4x400, 4x800) take second place.
