The Alexandria girls’ and boys’ track and field teams followed up an exceptional performance on Wednesday in Detroit Lakes on day one of the Section 8AA meet with another magnificent day of competition at their home facility on Saturday on day two of the meet. Both Cardinal teams captured team titles, while qualifying many of their athletes for the state meet next week at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
