The Fergus Falls baseball team came back from a 3-1 fifth inning deficit on Thursday to claim a much needed 9-3 win over the Thief River Falls Prowlers.  Colin Becker pitched six innings and gave up only one earned run to pick up the victory.  He recorded 7 strikeouts and issued two walks.  Carston Fronning struck out two batters in one inning of relief.

“What a great night at Legion Field,” said Fergus Falls Head Coach Kevin Pearson.  “Hitting is contagious.  We hope to continue our production in the last two at bats into our upcoming game.”

Leaders for Fergus Falls were Carter Thielke (3-3, 2B, 2SB, BB, 3R), Isaac Johnson (3-4, 2B, 5RBI, 2R), Becker (1-2, 2RBI), Cole Zierden (1-3, 2R, SB) and Andrew Johnson (1-4, SB).  Fronning scored twice for the Otters.

Fergus Falls will close out their regular season schedule with a road game against DGF on Friday.
