“The highlight of the evening was Ainsley Hansen's win in the high jump tying the CLC meet record with a jump of 5-7,” reported Fergus Falls Head Coach Niki Welde.  “She has her name on both the indoor and outdoor CLC meet records now.  She earned all-conference honors in that event and was honorable mention all-conference in the Long Jump.  Megan Tossett was also honorable mention all-conference with her personal best Triple Jump.  As a team we had an excellent night of Personal bests.  Of course we really do look to have these performances at the end of the season and the Otters did not disappoint.”  

Personal bests included Izzie Neubauer (100 hurdles, 200 hurdles), Alli Bredenberg (100 meter dash), Violet McConn (1600 meter run), Estee VerSteeg (400 meter dash), Sonja Lahti (800 meter run), Siiri Smestad (200 meter dash), Rachel DeBrito (200 meter dash), Cassie Wellman (3200 meter run), Sarah Grotberg (3200 meter run), Aisling Cox (discus), Ella Starzl (high jump) and Aubrey Seedorf (triple jump).

“This time of the year is where we look to see hard work pay off, and it has,” added Coach Welde.  "We travel to DL next for Day one of the Section Meet.  One week from Wednesday.   Day 2 will be the following Saturday in Alexandria."
