An attempt to overcome a six-run deficit in the sixth inning came up short for the Ottertail Central Bulldogs as they dropped a 7-6 decision to Brandon-Evansville on Tuesday.  OTC scored five runs in the failed comeback.

Dezmond White (2IP, 1R, 1H, 2K) started the game for the Chargers.  Brady Perleberg (3IP, 1R, 2H, 4K) was credited with the win.  Riley Perleberg and Tyler Bitzan entered the game out of the bullpen with Bitzan earning the last three outs to pick up the save.  Brandon-Evansville did not commit an error in the field.

“It was nice to get some solid relief pitching from Brady Perleberg and Tyler Bitzan when we needed it and the defense played clean baseball,” noted Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Brian Perleberg.  “Tyler Bitzan, Hunter Koep, and Jayden Hoidhal swung the bat well tonight and we will continue working to improve the little things that help you to be successful.  We have to give credit OTC for their never-die attitude that allowed them to make a big rally in the last couple innings.”

Owen Buehler (4IP, 5H, 5R, 1K) took the loss for the Bulldogs.  Kale Misegades and Soren Floden each had two hits to lead Ottertail Central at the plate.
