The Breckenridge/Wahpeton softball team received an outstanding pitching performance from Mia Dodge (7IP, 5H, 0R, 1BB, 12K) on Tuesday as the Storm eliminated Fergus Falls in the Section 8AA playoffs by the score of 6-0. Rylynn Krein (6IP, 7H, 6ER, 2BB, 4K) took the loss for the Otters.
Leaders for the Storm were Adi Dodge (2-3, 2B, SB, 2RBI, R) and Ana Erickson (2-3, 2B, 3B, SB, RBI, R). McKena Koolmo, Abi Bronson (Solo HR) and Abby Johnson (2B) also drove in runs for Breck/Wahp.
Rylynn Krein, Madi Budke, Kiara Grady, Lizzie Moxness and Piper Andrews had the lone hits for Fergus Falls.
The Storm will face top-seeded Frazee at 4:00pm Thursday in Frazee.
