Comets Drop Home Baseball Game to Central Minnesota Christian

Central Minnesota Christian overcame a 4-3 fourth inning deficit to hand the Hillcrest baseball team a 16-5 loss at American Legion Field at DeLagoon Park in Fergus Falls on Friday.

“We just can’t seem to avoid a bad inning,” commented Hillcrest Head Coach Dave WeinrichNate Bermel pitched 4 solid inning for us and we have had some good moments, but need to consistently make plays on defense.”

The Comets hitting attack was once again led by Evan Lindgren and Zayne WeinrichMicah Bermel also had a hit.

“We will continue to work hard and try to get better,” added Coach Weinrich.  “We will host Border West in a double header on Tuesday.”
