Hawley recorded a pair of softball wins over Breckenridge/Wahpeton on Thursday, winning 7-1 and 9-2. Elle Hastings (7IP, 6H, 1ER, 1BB, 9K) was on her game in the opener, earning an impressive win in the circle. Eagan Hastings (7IP, 6H, 2ER, 1BB, 7K) was just as effective in winning game two.
Hitting leaders for the Nuggets in game one were Kaylie Crabtree (3-4, 2 2B, 2RBI, 3R), Hastings (3-3, HR, 2RBI, R), Paige Blakeway (3-4, 2B, 2R) and Kylie Crabtree (2-4, 2RBI). Ana Erickson (2-3, 2B, RBI, 2SB) led the way for the Storm. McKena Koolmo was 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored.
