The Ashby baseball team had everything working on Thursday, winning big over Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers 11-1. Ashby scattered 12 hits in the game. Torin Olson, Carter Spangler, Carson Spangler and Hunter Norby each racked up multiple hits, with Olson going 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Arrows.
Ashby got on the board with an RBI double by Carter Spangler in the first inning and added four runs in the sixth, one of them on a home run by Olson.
Norby (5IP, 11K, 1R, 1H) was the winning pitcher and Carson Spangler threw one inning of relief. The Arrows were perfect in the field.
