The Brandon-Evansville softball team shutout Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in both ends of their Wednesday double header.  Kylee Dingwall (11K, 6BB) tossed a 5-inning no-hitter in a 9-0 victory in game one and Kaytlyn Pattrin (12K, 0BB) didn’t allow a hit in the 14-0 win in the second game.

First game hitting leaders were Sydney Schaefer (2-3, 2RBI, R), Kendra Klimek (1-3, 2RBI, R), Pattrin (1-1, RBI, 2R), Maddie Stich (1-2, RBI) and Dingwall (1-4, R).  “We did a nice job of hitting the ball hard and bringing runs in throughout this game,” commented B-E Head Coach Kasi Sieling.  “Dingwall threw an excellent game in the circle and the defense was able to make the plays to back her up.”

Second game leaders were Haddy Baune (1-1, 2RBI, R), Taylin Kramer (1-2, 2RBI, 2R), Schaefer (1-3, RBI, 2R), Sophie Koep (1-2, 3R), Dingwall (1-3, RBI, 2R) and Pattrin (1-2, RBI, R).

“Kaytlyn Pattrin did an outstanding job in the circle this game to collect her first varsity win,” noted Coach Sieling.  “She worked efficiently, allowing only one runner on base.  Offensively, we were patiently aggressive and hit the ball hard in this game.  The girls have battled hard in their third straight day of double headers and look forward to playing one more at home on Thursday against Ashby.”
