The Alexandria girls’ golf team won the Central Lakes Conference Championship on Tuesday with a score of 605. Brainerd was the runner-up team in the tournament with a score of 640. They were followed by Fergus Falls 691, Willmar 737, St. Cloud 755, Sartell 757 and Sauk Rapids-Rice 884. The team championship was played over two days with day one being played in Fergus Falls on Monday and day two taking place in Willmar on Tuesday.
Day two results for the Otters included an 81 from Ellia Soydara, an 84 from Annika Jyrkas, a 91 from Lexi Metcalf and a 95 from Annie Mayer. Ella Mayer (105) and Hanna Bye (109) rounded out the Tuesday scoring for the Otters.
Ella and Annie Mayer received Central Lakes Conference honorable mention, while Ellia Soydara and Annika Jyrkas received All-Conference honors. The Otters also received the Central Lakes Conference Sportsmanship award.
