Menahga Posts 9-1 Softball Win Over Pelican Rapids

The Menahga softball girls recorded a 9-1 win over Pelican Rapids on Friday.  “Menahga deserves credit as they made several very nice defensive plays and hit the ball very well, said Pelican Rapids Head Coach Derrick Nelson.

 

The lady Vikings were led by Arianna Villagomez (1-2, RBI), Hazel Haugrud (1-3, R) and Emily Haiby (1-3).  Kia Nelson struck out 7 and walked 3 in 7 innings in the circle.

Monday Pelican Rapids will travel for a makeup double header against DGF with the first game starting at 4:00pm.
