The Ottertail Central baseball team came up one run short in their 6-5 loss at Pillager on Tuesday.  The game was tied 5-5 in the bottom of the ninth when Tytan Skeesick singled in the game winner.  Eli Miller (4.1IP, 4K, 1BB, 0H, 0R) earned the win for the Huskies in relief.  Kale Misegades (2.2IP, 1K, 4H, 1R, 0BB) took the loss.

“Our pitching was pretty darn good tonight,” said Coach Ryan Hendrickson of the Bulldogs.  “Defensively, we have a lot of situational awareness to work on as we are giving way too many free bases game after game.  Offensively, we are improving immensely and will keep building on that as we still strike out too often.  Thursday in a big day for us as we go to Sebeka for a double header.”

Garrett Nelson led OTC with two hits in four at bats. Pillager was led by Conner Hanson (4-4, 2B) and Skeeskick (2-4).
