Henning took a 30-20 halftime lead against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Thursday night in their Section 6A playoff game and went on to record a 65-51 victory over the Titans.  Henning made 45% (19-42) of their shots from the field and 41% (5-12) of their 3’s.

“We expected this game to be a war, and it was,” commented Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “The Titans came out and were very physical with our guys. We battled and survived to play another day. In his last game on our home floor, Tanner Arndt showed his maturity and leadership on both ends of the floor tonight.”

Arndt had a game high 26 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field and 11-of-14 from the free throw line.  He also had 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.  Mason Hammer dumped in 20 points, blocked a pair of shots and pulled down 2 boards.  Tyson Misegades finished with 10 points and Kale Misegades added 9 points and 5 steals.  Carter Dilly secured a team high 6 rebounds, with four of them coming on the offensive end.

Second-seeded Henning will now face third-seeded Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at 2:30pm Saturday at ‘The Hive’ in Perham.
