Eighth-grader Drew Evavold had 19 points and freshman Kaleb Hammes added 18 to lead Underwood.  Cole Peterson chipped in with 10 and Jayden Harig took a pair of charges, putting his season total at 24.

“We shot well tonight, and really worked hard on the defensive end,” stated Underwood Head Coach Kellen Shebeck.  “We turned the ball over a few too many times, but we played physical and worked incredibly hard.  These kids have done everything the coaching staff has asked of them.  They compete every night, and keep their heads up no matter the outcome.  Our lone seniors, Reed Solberg, was an excellent leader for us, on the floor, and off.  We will miss having Reed around, as he is an incredible young man.”

Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal will now travel to Henning on Thursday for a Section 6A matchup against the Hornets.
