Ellie Welch registered a double-double (17 points, 16 rebounds), and added 5 assists and 4 steals on Friday night to lead the Pelican Rapids girls' basketball team past Lake Park-Audubon 56-48 on Senior Night for the lady Vikings. Seniors Tori Stephenson (6 points) and Sophia Paulson (5 points, 3 assists) were honored prior to the game.
Morgan Korf (10 points, 6 assists, 7 steals, 5 rebounds), Hazel Haugrud (10 points, 3 assists) and Kelsey Isaman (12 rebounds) also contributed.
Pelican Rapids led 32-22 at the half, but Lake Park-Audubon outscored them 26-24 over the final 18 minutes of play.
The Vikings end their regular season with a record of 13-10.
