Tech Pulls Away From Otter Boys with Strong Second Half

After holding a slim 36-25 halftime lead over the Otters, the St. Cloud Tech Tigers pulled away from the visitors and finished with an impressive 71-45 victory over Fergus Falls, holding them to just twenty second half points.

With the game tied 12-12 the Tigers went on a 9-2 run and never trailed again.  Donald Ferguson III led them with 22 points.  Tameron Ferguson and Jalyn Simmons finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

The Otters were led by Kaden Conklin with 13 points.  Luke Newman had 9 before fouling out with 12 minutes to play in the game.  Elliot Pribbenow had a pair of 3's and contributed 8 points.  The Otters were 7-for-8 on the free throw line.

Fergus Falls (8-13) has lost 3 straight and 7 of their last 8 games.  They will host Perham at 2:30pm Saturday.
