Wadena-Deer Creek put together a strong defensive effort on the way to a 42-31 victory over Sebeka on Saturday. The Wolverines were led by Addyson Gravelle with 13 points. Madison Packer added 9 points. WDC outscored the Trojans 21-12 in the second half.
Sebeka was led by Maci Lake with 13 points.
Wadena-Deer Creek (13-10, 9-5 PRC) is at Parkers Prairie on Tuesday.
Sebeka (6-17) will travel to Parkers Prairie on Monday, play at Menahga on Thursday and host Browerville in their regular season finale on Friday.
