“We played pretty even in the second half with CGB cutting the lead to 12 at one point, but a solid effort to close the game gave us a 20 point win,” reported Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso.
Ady Tysdal led Battle Lake in scoring with 26 points, including 10-of-11 free throws. Grace VanErp added 17 and Morgan Malone had a solid game inside, scoring 13 points.
The Wolverines were led by Jessica Moberg, who matched Tysdal with 26 points.
Battle Lake (14-6) will host Hillcrest on Thursday and play at West Central Area on Friday.
CGB (8-10) will host Canby on Tuesday and play at West Central Area in Barrett on Thursday.
