The Perham boys’ basketball team won the ‘Battle of the Bees’ on Friday night at ‘The Hive’ as they defeated the Frazee Hornets by the score of 68-35, scoring 34 points in each half. The Yellowjackets shot 43.5% (27-62) from the field and placed 3 players in double figures.
Soren Anderson led the way with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Micah Thompson scored 17 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. Jacob Daniels contributed 10 points and 5 boards.
Frazee was led by Mason Johanson with 12 points, 8 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. Adam Vigen added 7 points for the Hornets.
Perham (9-5) will play Redwood Valley at Alexandria High School on Saturday.
Frazee (3-12) will host Battle Lake on Tuesday.
