“It was a physical game tonight where we struggled to score for the majority of the game, but made some big plays down the stretch to earn a hard fought road victory,” said Head Coach Zach Traphagen of the Chargers. “Our three senior girls really stepped up tonight for us. The final 5 minutes of the game came down to us securing rebounds and making free throws and we did a very good job in both those aspects. Very proud of the resiliency our girls showed tonight.”
“Olivia Otto was the leading scorer with 18 points. She also had 4 rebounds and a pair of steals. Kiley Lund added 12 points and Kaytlyn Pattrin scored 5 points, dished out 4 assists and pulled down 4 rebounds. Kylee Dingwall had 3 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals.
Brandon-Evansville (6-6) will host Hillcrest on Friday night.
