“We found a way to grind out a win, even though we struggled on both ends of the floor in stretches,” said Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We had spurts where we did some nice things, but need a much more consistent effort from everyone as we move forward.”
Mason Hammer was the high point man for the Hornets with 23 points, including 4-of-9 from behind the arc. Tyson Misegades added 13 points. Tanner Arndt had a solid all-around game with 6 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Kale Misegades had 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals.
Henning (12-1) will play their next game on Tuesday at Pillager. They also have road games at Lake Park-Audubon on Thursday and at Sebeka on Saturday next week.
Menahga (7-6) will host Bertha-Hewitt next Tuesday and Parkers Prairie on Thursday before traveling to New York Mills for a Friday night encounter with the Eagles.
