Alexandria set two pool records at the Melrose pool on their way to a non-conference win Tuesday night, one in the 200 freestyle relay (Nicolas Welle, Erik Reineke, Logan Tung, Carter Holm) and one in the 400 freestyle relay (Nicolas Welle, Logan Tung, Anthony Hoyt, and Carter Holm). Narrowly missing a pool record in the 200 medley relay, the team of Eric Peterson, Logan Tung, Nicolas Welle and Carter Holm won the event with the team of Mark Meece, Matt Mayer, Cooper Running and Andrew Johnson finishing in third place.

Cooper Running won the 200 IM and placed second in the 100 butterfly. Adison Newman placed fourth in the fly. Andrew Johnson won the JV 50 freestyle, followed by Adi Newman in second and Lucas Bakker in fourth. Logan Tung won the 50 freestyle, followed by Andrew Crowser in fourth place. Krew Muscha won the JV diving competition. Caden Kavanagh won the varsity diving, followed by brother Kyler in second place. Keaton Snitker had an outstanding night in diving and finished fourth. Nicolas Welle won the 100 butterfly, missing the pool record by .03 seconds. Eric Peterson finished third in the 100 freestyle and second in the 100 backstroke. Joel Brault, Matt Mayer, and Colton Koehn finished fourth, fifth, and sixth in the 100 breaststroke.

Next up for the team is a CLC matchup at St. Cloud Tech on Thursday at 6:00 PM.
