The Battlers were led by seniors Grace VanErp (23 points) and Ady Tysdal (21 points).  They also made 14-of-16 free throw attempts.

“We had a nice game tonight,” said Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso.  “We did a real nice job defensively, making it tough on the Hornet offense all night long.  We continued our tough defense throughout the second half.  It was a big night for our senior tandem, but it was just as big a night for our team defense.”

Battle Lake (9-3) will host Ashby on Friday night in a Little Eight Conference matchup.

Frazee (3-10) has a Heart O’ Lakes Conference home contest against Pelican Rapids on Thursday night.
