Brandon-Evansville managed to score just 7 points in the first half and 23 points in the game on Tuesday night as Parkers Prairie posted a 38-23 victory over the Chargers in a Little Eight Conference girls’ basketball contest.

"We struggled to find a rhythm offensively all game long,” commented Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Zach Traphagen. “I thought the girls played very timid on offense in the 1st half and didn't do a very good job of taking care of the ball. We did a much better job of regrouping at halftime, making some adjustments, and putting forth a much better effort in the 2nd half. We've won the last few games by dominating both offensive and defensive rebounds, and tonight was the exact opposite. Then you add on top of it shooting 21% from the field and that's not going to usually equate to a win. But this team will get back to work, correct our mistakes, and get better from this loss."

B-E was led by Olivia Otto (11 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals), Kylee Dingwall (5 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds) and Kaytlyn Pattrin (3 assists).

No Parkers Prairie stats were reported.

Brandon-Evansville (5-5) will host Melrose on Thursday and Ashby on Friday.

Parkers Prairie (5-4) is at Rothsay for a conference contest on Friday night.
