Barnesville High School senior Kaden Zenzen was among 31 players signing to play football for NDSU on Wednesday, the first day of the three-day early signing period for Division I football.  Zenzen, a tight end for the Trojans, set school records for receiving yards and touchdowns with 32 catches for 673 yards and 13 TD’s in his career.  He also totaled 151 tackles, including 27 tackles for loss, and 19.5 sacks on defense.

Zenzen, a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter, was a team captain his senior year.  He was District MVP and a two-time all-section performer, who was also selected to the 2021 Minnesota high school all-star game.

Zenzen is also a two-time all-conference basketball player who competes in track and field in the spring.  He plans to major in business at NDSU.  His older brother, Hunter, is a linebacker for Iowa State.
