Henning Boys Beat Sebeka to Start Season 5-0

The Henning boys’ basketball team ran their winning streak to start the season to five games with a 67-24 home court victory over Sebeka on Tuesday night.  Henning held the Trojans to just 12 points in each half and had a 38-12 lead at the half.

Mason Hammer led the way with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and 3 steals.  Tyson Misegades was also in double figures with 11 points.  He also added 5 assists, as did Kale Misegades, who finished with 9 points, 7 boards and 4 steals.  Tanner Arndt contributed 8 points, 3 assists and a pair of rebounds, and Calvin Stueve had 8 points, 4 steals and 3 assists.

Henning made 50% (26-51) of their field goal attempts and 11-of-12 (91%) free throw opportunities.

“All our guys saw significant playing time tonight against a young Sebeka team,” noted Head Coach Randy Misegades.

Henning (5-0) will go on the road to face Wadena-Deer Creek on Thursday.
