Fergus Falls won the Tom Uvaas Otter Swim Invite on Saturday with 487 points.  Park Rapids Area was runner-up with 309 and Detroit Lakes finished third with 249 points.  Morris Area was fourth (228), followed by Perham/New York Mills (207) and Thief River Falls (159).

“It is always nice to start the year with a home invite victory,” said Head Coach Randy Hansen of the Otters.  “The boys swam really well today and have great things to build on for the rest of the year.  Many of our veteran swimmers were better than or close to their best times last year. Our newer swimmers showed a lot of promise.  It will be fun to see them develop.”
