“We played a very nice game tonight,” said Warriors Head Coach Jordon Roos. “We were able to put a ton of pressure on Ortonville, force a bunch of turnovers, and run the floor for easy baskets because of it. We had 11 different players get into the scoring column which was awesome to see.”
Wheaton/Herman-Norcross forced 25 Ortonville turnovers in the game, leading to 38 points, and had 19 steals. The Warriors also held a 42-29 edge on the boards, snaring 13 offensive rebounds on the night.
Wheaton/Herman-Norcross shot 46.8% from the field and Ortonville made just 27.3% of their shots.
The one-two punch of Clint Determan (19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals) and Dylan Bainbridge (16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists) once again led the way for Wheaton/Herman-Norcross. Holden Rinke and Brayden Hormann each added 6 points, Brayden Hofer distributed 4 assists and Zach Braaten came up with 4 steals.
