The Fergus Falls wrestling team had 3 matches Tuesday night at the Osakis Triangular.
The Otters wrestled Benson first, followed by a small, but very tough Osakis team, and then competed against a full strength (single) A ranked #9 West Central Area team in the final dual. Several wrestlers were missing due to injury and health, but 4 of those athletes are slated to return this week.
"Our boys wrestled really well tonight," said Head Coach Adam Schlepp of the Otters. "Our varsity still has three practices to improve before competing again at the Grant County Tournament Saturday. Our JR High wrestlers only have 1-2 practices before competing at the Grant County Middle School Tournament on Friday. We aim to maximize our time in the room this week and wrestle even better this Friday and Saturday at the GCT."
