Northland controlled the boards with 48 rebounds compared to 29 for M State. Keylee Dahl led the Pioneers with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Macy Skyberg had a team high 18 points, while grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists. Jackie Lynn Taflin was also in double digits with 10 points. Northland hit 40% (28/70) of their field goal attempts and made 37.5% (3-8) of their 3’s.
The lady Spartans were led by 19 points from Mackenzie Foss and 10 from Nyssa Vogel. Foss also had a team high 6 steals and dished out 3 assists. Emily Dehler had 10 rebounds and 3 assists and Lindsey Kurz finished with 6 points and 5 boards. M State shot 32.8% (20-61) from the floor.
The lady Spartans are now 3-2 on the season. They will travel to Moorhead to face the Concordia JV team on Thursday and then play NDSCS in Wahpeton on Sunday.
