The Brandon-Evansville Chargers Boys Basketball team earned their first win of the season against Bertha-Hewitt on Friday night in Bertha by a score of 66-51.

“I thought we played hard, and at times too fast,” commented B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “I appreciated our guys adjusting to the physicality of the game. There were 50 fouls called and probably could have been more. We rebounded well and I was proud of how often we got to the free-throw line. We shot 28 of 40 from the line. We have a lot to improve on including our composure at times, but overall I'm happy for our guys.”

Titus Fuller led the Chargers with 17 points and Tyler Bitzan added 13.  Lucas Fuller chipped in with 10 points, while Micah Fuller and Dezmond White each contributed 9.

Brandon-Evansville will host Hillcrest in a Little Eight Conference contest on Tuesday night.
