Clint Determan poured in 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting and Dylan Bainbridge made 6-of-8 shots on the way to a 20 point performance to lead Wheaton/Herman-Norcross to a 70-46 victory over Benson on Friday night.

Determan completed a double-double with 10 rebounds and also recorded a team high 5 assists in the game.  Bainbridge distributed 4 assists and Zach Braaten finished with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.  Caden Spilde added 8 points and 6 boards for the Warriors.

"We had a good game to start the year. We were able to run the floor and put some pressure on Benson and take advantage early," said Head Coach Jordon Roos of the Warriors. "Determan and Bainbridge were big for us and led the way. Benson pulled within 7 in the second half before we were able to counter their run and put the game away. It wasn’t the cleanest game ever, but this is expected early on in the year and room to improve."

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross shot 50% (24-48) from the field and made 15-of-21 (71.4%) free throw attempts.  They also held a 32-24 edge on the boards.
