The Breckenridge Cowgirls claimed the Section 6A volleyball championship and a berth in the Class A State Tournament when they defeated Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa in a competitive five-set match on Saturday night at the Kennedy Secondary School in Fergus Falls.  The Cowgirls posted a 3-2 (23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 19-25, 18-16) victory over the Jaguars, improving their record to 29-2.
