Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton remained unbeaten in seven games with a 13-7 victory over Fergus Falls (5-2) on Friday night.

The Rebels scored on a 58 yard run by McKale Pierson in the first quarter.  Pierson added the extra point kick for a 7-0 DGF lead.

A 5 yard run by Carter Thielke and a PAT kick by Jaydon Manteufel tied the score at 7-7 in the fourth quarter.  A two yard run by Logan Johnson with two minutes to play in the game capped a 77 yard drive that included a pair of fourth down conversions on encroachment penalties by the Otters.

“We didn’t sustain enough drives in the first half,” said Fergus Falls Head Coach Steve Olson.  “Our defense played well until some breakdowns late in the game.  We need to re-focus as we prepare for our Wednesday game against East Grand Forks.”

DGF was led by Pierson with 17 carries for 135 yards.  The Rebels had 167 of their 203 total yards on the ground.

Fergus Falls had 104 rushing yards and 115 passing yards for a total of 219 yards on the night.  Thielke ran for 44 yards on 12 attempts and completed 11-of-25 passes for 115 yards.  Landon Thacker had 53 rushing yards on 10 attempts.  Luke Newman was the leading receiver with 7 catches for 101 yards.
