Otter Boys Win Albany Cross Country Invitational

The Fergus Falls boys’ cross country team won the championship at the Albany Invitational on Tuesday with 42 points.  Little Falls took second with 59 points.  They were followed by Foley 83, Albany 86, Melrose Area 100 and Glencoe-Silver Lake 145.

Connor Hallaway of Glencoe-Silver Lake won the individual title with a time of 16:36.1 and Grant Mayers of Albany was second at 16:41.7.

The Otters placed their top four runners in the top ten, led by Jaden Miller (17:19.6) in fourth place and Conrad Lobb (17:40.6) in sixth place.  Jack Welde (17:47.7) was seventh and Logan Bredenberg (17:58.4) tenth.  Luke Schroeder (18:12.50 placed fifteenth and David Ronnevik (18:20.4) was seventeenth.

Henry Greenagel (18:40.1) won the JV race for the Otters and Tommy Erickson (18:57.4) was third.  Aaron Shern and Alex Burrows were seventh and eighth, respectively, while Michael Schmidt and Camden Skjeret ended up in fourteenth and fifteenth place.

In the Middle School race, Kadyn Zender was sixth, Nolan Felstul tenth and Samuel Rasmussen fourteenth.
