“Everyone contributed to tonight’s win,” exclaimed HLA Head Coach Debi Foss. “With a team totals of 35 kills, 14 aces serves, and a solid pass rating we were finally able to get the “W”.   We were able to spread out our offense and mix up our attacks. Our blocking also showed improvement tonight. I felt like we did a better job of adjusting to our errors and making adjustments.  Great job team!” 

Leaders for the Comets were Henrietta Ruud (14 set assists, 5 ace serves, 10 digs), Anna Brumfield (3 ace serves, 5 kills, 4 digs, 4 block kills), Emily Adams (7 kills, 5 digs, 1 ace serve, 2 block kills), Hope Adams (9 kills, 2 ace serves, 3 block kills), Madi Foss (7 kills, 14 set assists, 6 digs), Ella Knutson (2 ace serves, 2 kills, 10 digs, 1 block kill), Abby Heikes (1 ace serve, 7 digs), Natalie Zwiers (4 kills, 1 block kill) and Madison Ballweg (10 digs).

The Comets will host a conference matchup versus Ashby on Saturday with the JV starting at noon and the varsity to follow.
