Underwood beat Parkers Prairie 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-20) in a Little Eight Conference volleyball match on Thursday night in Underwood.

“There was great atmosphere in the gym tonight for our homecoming game,” said Underwood Head Coach Breck Grove.  “The game was back and forth and both teams had to play hard for each point.  It was exciting to see our team play steady, consistent volleyball tonight.  We've been working at playing as a team and minimizing our mistakes, so it was fun to see the girls play so well together tonight.”

Brianna Evavold and Becca Johnson led the defensive effort with 16 and 15 digs, respectively.  Kallyn Grove added 12 digs, and Amber Frigaard and Ezrah Baker each had 8 digs.  Elizabeth Lukken had a team high 18 kills and Baker added 13.  Grove distributed 37 set assists.

Serving leaders were Grove (13/13), Alayna Evavold (14/15, 3 aces), Frigaard (9/10), Johnson (9/9), Lukken (8/8) and Baker (7/7, 1 ace).
