Brandon-Evansville to Hold Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The inaugural class of inductees into the Brandon-Evansville Chargers Hall of Fame will be inducted the weekend of October 8 and 9. 

There will be a plaque hanging in the Brandon school building at 6:00pm Friday, October 8 and the inductees will be honored during a halftime ceremony at the homecoming football game.  At 10:00am Saturday, October 9 there will be a plaque hanging in the Evansville school building.  The induction ceremony will be held at the Brandon City Hall on Saturday, beginning with the Social Hour at 5:30pm.  Dinner will be served at 6:30 and the Hall of Fame Induction Program will begin at 7:30pm.

Inductees are standout Brandon-Evansville athletes Nate Meissner and Debbie (Slack) Otto, Community Supporters Dean and Ruth Plaster, the 1999 Girls Basketball State Championship Team, and longtime baseball and girls’ basketball coach Dick Simpson.

Tickets are available at either school office and at all Charger Athletic Events.  The cost is $20 for the meal and admission to the ceremony.
