Rose completed 20-of-25 passes for 300 yards and 5 touchdowns to lead the Owls to a 44-28 win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on Friday night. He also ran for 115 yards on 15 carries.
Rose hit Jackson Koehl with a 20-yard touchdown pass and then ran in for the two-point conversion for the Owls first score in the second quarter. In the third quarter he connected with Matt Thompson on an 18-yard TD pass and scored another two-point conversion. Rose threw three more touchdown passes in a wild fourth quarter, hitting Thompson on a 20 yard pass and again on the two-point conversion play, hooking up with Koehl on a 44-yard score and then finding Luke Joos for the two-point conversion, and finishing his night with a 14 yard toss to Thompson in the end zone.
