Connor Schumacher (7IP, 4H, 1ER, 13K, 1BB) went the distance to earn the win for Plainview-Elgin-Millville on Tuesday as they eliminated Wadena-Deer Creek by the score of 3-1 in the Class AA State Baseball Tournament quarterfinals at Faber Field in St. Cloud.

The loss went to Josh Dykhoff (5IP, 6H, 3ER, 3BB, 9K).  Payton Rondestvedt (2IP, 0H, 1BB, 3K) pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the Wolverines.  Dykhoff went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a run batted in and Carson Kern had a single and scored the only run for WDC.
