Five Fergus Falls errors led to four unearned runs as the Barnesville Trojans handed the Otters a 5-2 opening round loss in the Section 8AA Softball playoffs on Tuesday at DeLagoon Park in Fergus Falls. The loss eliminates the Otters from the tournament.
Samantha Passa (2-4 RBI, R) led the Trojans at the plate. Anna Stanford was 1-for-3 with a double, a run batted in and two runs scored. Trinity Gregg (7IP, 7K, 7H, 2ER, 4BB) was the winning pitcher.
Rylynn Krein (7IP, 8K, 0BB, 5H, 5R, 1ER) took the loss. Leading hitters were Karyssa Eberle (2-2, R), Piper Andrews (2-2), Krein (1-4, R) and Gabby Brimhall (1-4, RBI).
